WHAT ARE MY SHIPPING DELIVERY OPTIONS?
Free Shipping
We offer free International Surface Mail. Shipping on Free shipping (surface mail) is included in every order, unless customers opt for a top up of US$4 for airmail shipping for All members who do not opt in for upgrade to airmail shipping.
Shipping Fees
We also offer shipping at the following rates:

If you select a shipping option, we will follow up after you have placed the order with any additional shipping information. All times and dates given for delivery of the products are given in good faith but are estimates only. For EU and UK consumers: This does not affect your statutory rights. Unless specifically noted, estimated delivery times reflect the earliest available delivery, and deliveries will be made within 30 days after the day we accept your order. Processing and dispatch
All Old Post dispatches ship in a single batch per quarter, on the date stated at checkout. You'll receive an email once your dispatch has been packaged and handed to the post.
Delivery estimates
Surface mail: 4–8 weeks from the ship date. Airmail (+USD $4 at checkout): 1–2 weeks. These are estimates based on standard international postal timelines and are not guaranteed; delays outside our control, including customs processing, may occur.
Tracking
To keep The Old Post affordable, neither surface mail nor airmail includes tracking. Airmail offers faster delivery, not visibility into transit.
Lost dispatches
If your dispatch has not arrived within 12 weeks of its ship date, please contact us at support@theoldpost.store. We'll arrange one replacement per subscriber at no charge. We're unable to offer refunds for lost mail.
Customs and import duties
International shipments may be subject to customs fees, import duties, or taxes imposed by your country. These are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in your order total.
Address accuracy
Please ensure your shipping address is correct before the order cutoff date for each quarter. We cannot be held responsible for dispatches lost or undelivered due to an incorrect address provided at checkout.
Returned or undeliverable parcels
If a dispatch is returned to us as undeliverable, we'll reattempt delivery once at our own cost. If the second attempt also fails, please contact us to arrange next steps; further reshipping may be at the subscriber's expense if the cause was an incorrect address on file.
Packaging in transit
Each dispatch is wrapped, bound, and sealed in wax by hand. Items may shift or show minor wear during international transit; this is normal and does not indicate a damaged order.
HOW IS MY SUBSCRIPTION FULFILLED?
If you are buying a subscription then we will deliver on: Subscriptions are fulfilled per dispatch. Each quarter has its own ship date, announced in advance on our website and via email. You'll be notified before each dispatch goes out.Your first charge is taken at the time of purchase. Subsequent charges are taken at the opening of each new quarter's dispatch.
DO YOU DELIVER INTERNATIONALLY?
We offer worldwide shipping. Free International Surface Mail Shipping is valid on all international orders. For information about customs process:

Please note, we may be subject to various rules and restrictions in relation to some international deliveries and you may be subject to additional taxes and duties over which we have no control. If such cases apply, you are responsible for complying with the laws applicable to the country where you live and will be responsible for any such additional costs or taxes.
ARE THERE OTHER SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS?
Each dispatch ships once, on its fixed quarterly ship date — we do not ship individual items separately, process early requests, or hold dispatches for later delivery. Orders placed after the cutoff date for a given quarter will automatically roll into the following quarter's dispatch.
Subscriptions are fulfilled per dispatch; your parcel goes out when the quarter is ready, not on a fixed monthly schedule. We ship worldwide; there are currently no country restrictions, though customs processing times vary by destination and are outside our control.
Each dispatch begins its journey from Singapore and travels, as letters have always travelled, across borders and oceans to reach you. We ask for your patience along the way; the post, like all good things worth waiting for, moves at its own pace.Surface mail typically takes between 4 and 12 weeks to arrive, though this varies considerably by destination; some parcels arrive swiftly, others take their time. As surface post is not tracked, we are unable to guarantee an exact delivery date, and we thank you for your patience while your dispatch makes its way to you.
Subscribers wishing for greater certainty may select the airmail upgrade at checkout for an additional USD $4.We rely on the address provided at checkout to send your dispatch safely on its way. Please take a moment to ensure it is complete and correct before confirming your subscription.
Should a dispatch be delayed, misdirected, or returned to us due to an incomplete or incorrect address, we are happy to send a replacement, though a reshipping fee will apply.
Some destinations may apply customs duties, import taxes, or handling fees upon a dispatch's arrival. These charges, where they occur, are set by your local customs authority and are the responsibility of the subscriber. The Old Post has no visibility into, nor influence over, this process, and cannot predict when or whether such charges will apply.
Occasionally, a letter loses its way. If your dispatch has not arrived within 12 weeks of its ship date, please write to us at support@theoldpost.store and we will look into it together. As surface mail is untracked, we are unable to confirm its exact whereabouts, but we will do what we reasonably can to make things right, whether that be a reshipment or another resolution at our discretion.
Every dispatch is hand-assembled and hand-swatched, and small variations in ink application, paper texture, or wax seal impression are part of its charm rather than a flaw. Should your dispatch arrive genuinely damaged in transit — torn, crushed, or water-affected — please write to us within 14 days of delivery with a photograph, and we will arrange a replacement.
On rare occasion, matters entirely outside our hands — postal strikes, customs backlogs, natural disasters, or disruptions to international mail service — may delay a dispatch beyond our usual estimates. We ask for your understanding in such circumstances, as these delays fall outside what we are able to promise or resolve.
We are proud to send The Old Post to correspondents around the world. In rare cases, we may need to pause or limit shipping to certain destinations where postal reliability or import restrictions make safe delivery unlikely. If this affects your location, we will let you know at checkout.
Subscriptions confirmed after our quarterly production cutoff will begin with the following quarter's dispatch, rather than the one already in progress. Once a dispatch has entered production, it can no longer be cancelled, amended, or refunded for that cycle.
For gift subscriptions, the recipient's address must be confirmed by the time of order to ensure it reaches production correctly. The gift-giver is responsible for the accuracy of the address provided; The Old Post is not able to redirect a dispatch once it has been sent to production.
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY ORDER IS DELAYED?
If delivery is delayed for any reason we will let you know as soon as possible and will advise you of a revised estimated date for delivery.
